We are an independent orthopaedic clinic owned and run by Dr Philip Witte and Dr Harry Scott. Our mission is to provide the highest level of specialist care for dogs and cats with spinal and musculoskeletal disorders at a fair and reasonable price.
We aim to work with you in a collaborative and supportive relationship to achieve the best possible outcome for the dogs and cats that you refer to us. We differ from large multidisciplinary referral centres, which are usually corporate-owned because our focus is primarily on orthopaedics. Phil and Harry both have extensive experience and interest in spinal surgery, and Harry has a European Diploma in Veterinary Neurology, and although we are not a neurology centre we also see selected spinal surgery cases.
If you would like to refer a non-urgent case please complete our online referral form. If you have an urgent case please phone the clinic on 01202 022994. Urgent cases are usually seen the same day but we aim to see all patients within a few days of referral.
If you would like advice about a case, even if you do not intend to refer to us, then please phone 01202 022994. It is our firm belief that we should serve the veterinary world in any way we can, so we will always be happy to offer a telephone conversation or email exchange to give advice and support with no strings attached, whether you are in Poole or the Outer Hebrides.
