We are a new independent friendly and compassionate veterinary orthopaedic and spinal surgery referral clinic based in Poole, Dorset. The clinic is owned and run by Dr Phil Witte and Dr Harry Scott, two of the most experienced veterinary orthopaedic surgeons in the country.
Harry and Phil worked together from 2008 to 2020 at a growing multi-disciplinary referral centre. During that time Phil underwent specialist training, culminating in his RCVS accreditations in surgery and orthopaedic surgery. Harry was Phil’s mentor and teacher during this time. They have an excellent working relationship and they were delighted when, after a hiatus of four years working in different centres, the planets aligned and an opportunity to develop a new centre arose.
As a referral clinic our sole purpose is to work in collaboration with you and your vet to achieve the best possible outcome for your pet. It is very important to us that we have your fully-informed consent for any investigations and/or procedures that we perform. We will advise you of the best treatment options based both on the available evidence and our extensive experience but you will always have the final say.
We believe in offering the best quality service and facilities at a fair price. We are able to offer an exceptional service at a reasonable price because we are putting together a team and work-flow systems which are efficient.
