Cats are often underserved when it comes to advanced orthopaedic and spinal surgery, with many otherwise treatable cases being declined specialist treatment for financial reasons despite an excellent expected outcome.
As cat enthusiasts and co-authors of Feline Orthopaedics, Harry Scott and Philip Witte are currently collecting material for the forthcoming third edition of their textbook and are keen to continue expanding the range and number of feline cases treated.
To help improve accessibility to specialist feline surgery, we are introducing an even more simplified fixed-price initiative for selected feline orthopaedic and spinal procedures.
For a limited period, most feline orthopaedic and spinal procedures will be available for a fixed surgical fee of £2,500, subject to case assessment.
The fixed-price initiative may include the following:
Two examples of surgical procedures that qualify for a fixed surgical fee of £2500: a comminuted femoral fracture and an ilial shaft fracture with contralateral sacroiliac luxation.
Cats requiring very complex surgery, joint replacement, revision surgery or staged procedures are likely to fall outside the fixed-price initiative. We are unable to offer our usual 12-month surgical guarantee for procedures performed at this reduced price.
All-inclusive fixed prices and surgical guarantees for all procedures.
